NARI PORTAL-Ministry of women and child development is launched for the welfare of women and children in India By Mrs. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi.
Ministry of women and child development launches the NARI PORTAL to empower the women. Nari portal is launched by Maneka Gandhi the Minister of women and child development department. She states that the central government launches various schemes for the women of India. What there are many different websites for every schemes related to women. For this reason the central government launch the NARI PORTAL-Ministry of women and child development empowering women.
In this Nari portal the all the government schemes are available. Basically the schemes related to women are focused here. There are some differences between women and men lifestyle. To keep it on mind NARI PORTAL-Ministry of women and child development empowering women is launched. After giving the approval for “Triple Talaq bill” for Muslims women, Nari portal is launched for all women in India. On the day of Launch Mrs. Maneka Gandhi said that the for first time after the independence women of India will able to access information easily. This includes both the central as well as state government schemes. In addition, to provide the platform for various NGO’s and social societies Ministry of women and child development launched another portal “E-Samvad”.

Subsequently, Mrs. Maneka Gandhi also gives an overview on the NARI PORTAL-Ministry of women and child development empowering women for the year 2018. Minister said that the National Nutrition Mission is launched in the country in January 2018. And this mission will works on 315 districts in all over the India. In addition to this about 50Lakh women will be given the direct cash transfer in their bank account Under “Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandna Yojana” this year.
Meanwhile both central and state government implements various schemes for women to provide them equal rights economically, housing, social support, legal aid system and lot more. However there is often a lack of awareness about these schemes between many women. For example many are unaware about the “PM Awas Yojana” gives priority to the registration of homes under the name of women. Many state governments of India provide the financial support to the girl child education, but many people are unaware about them. This may be due to information related to women centric schemes are at different websites or portals.
Therefore In order to make information easily accessible the NARI PORTAL-Ministry of women and child development empowering women is launched. NARI PORTAL includes over 350 government schemes and other information for the benefits of women. In addition there are more information will be added on daily basis. NARI PORTAL will provide the various links to different website and will explain in details that how to apply for these government schemes.
